This almost pure merlot shows lots of perfume and walnut character with hints of earth. Medium body, round and soft tannins and a beautiful finish. Second wine of La Croix du Casse. Drink now or hold.

Neal Martin The Wine Advocate

The 2014 Les Chemins de La Croix du Casse, the second label of La Croix du Casse, has a light tertiary, sous-bois driven bouquet that would benefit from more fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with soft tannin, moderate acidity, simple with a smooth black cherry and allspice finish that needs more delineation. Easy-drinking Pomerol.
